Experience Venice as the locals have done for more than a thousand years through a gondola ride and continue the tour visiting a real masterpiece of Byzantine art, the golden Basilica!
A classic gondola ride is the perfect way to appreciate the beauty, charm and color of this unique city built on water. At the first part our staff will welcome you at the meeting point and give you boarding assistance on your Gondola (up to 6 people per Gondola). The tour begins in the Canal Grande in the Salute area and proceeds to the minor canals in the Fenice area. Your 30-minute ride ends at the starting point.
In the second part of the tour you will discover one of the world’s most majestic cathedrals. Together with a tour guide you can take a full tour of the Golden Basilica.
Listen to our Guide seated, as he describe the biblical scenes represented inside, as well the history and distinctive festures of this ancient basilica. Admire the Pala d’ Oro, an exquisite example of Byzantine art with its thousands of gems and precious stones.

When and where: from Monday to Saturday at 11.00 AM in Calle Larga dell’ Ascensione in front of the post office. Please be at the meeting point 15 min before. Sunday excluded.
What’s included: Fabulous photo-opportunities. Boarding assistance. Gondola will be shared. Personal audio system, guide has microphone, skip the line. Priority entrance in the Basilica.
Duration: 1hr and 30 minutes
Notes: Appropriate clothing is required (no shorts or tank tops) when visiting the Cathedral, for safety reasons no backpacks are allowed. Some days access may not be possible due to religious events or exceptionally high tides. The tour may take place the following day or be refunded.
